The Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg are considered to be one of the most beautiful baroque gardens in the world and was featured in The Sound of Music (which I have never seen). You can see Salzburg’s most visited tourist attraction, Hohensalzburg Fortress in the background.

Beautiful gardens! I was just in Salzburg a couple of weeks ago, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop at the Mirabell Gardens. We did make it to the Hohensalzburg Fortress though, which I really enjoyed.
The Mirabell Gardens were my favourite part of the city but I only had a brief visit so didn’t get to see everything I wanted to. I’ll definitely be going back.
