Did you visit the beer gardens?
Well, yeah
Although I’m not much of a beer drinker, I just went to see what all the fuss was about.
I was there just before Oktoberfest and the beer gardens were already packed with tourists (and locals). Not really my thing…
Munich is just wonderful. I recently visited for the first time with the intention of visiting Munich (previously I had passed through the train station and didn’t venture much beyond) and just fell in love with the city. I’m actually working on an audio tour right now. Can’t wait to go back and have the cracklin’ pork knuckle at the hofbrauhaus again.
Chris, if you head back, definitely check out Cafe Frischhut, if you haven’t already. Amazing!
