On our way back to Paris from Bruges, we stopped in Lille. I would have loved to have stayed a while to explore the city but we really didn’t have time. We did a quick bus tour of the city, had lunch, and left. From what I saw I’d have to say it’s one of the most beautiful cities in France – not at all what I expected. I’ll definitely be heading back for a longer visit.

Hi Andrea…I have been wanting to go to Lille for years, looks a lovely place to roam about. I have been to Bruge a few times, great place with lots of little shops!
I really want to go back and explore both cities. Maybe next year…
